Brand Designer
2020
The Oleaf project was a conceptual journey into creating a premium olive oil brand that bridges the gap between tradition and modernity. With a focus on combining the rich heritage of olive oil production with contemporary design elements, Oleaf was envisioned as a brand that would stand out in a crowded market while telling a story of quality and craftsmanship.
The branding for Oleaf draws inspiration from the natural beauty and cultural significance of olive oil. The logo design, with its organic forms and elegant typography, reflects the brand’s commitment to quality. The vibrant color palette and abstract imagery of olive leaves were carefully chosen to evoke a sense of tradition while appealing to modern sensibilities. Every element was crafted to ensure that Oleaf would not just be another product on the shelf, but a statement of premium, artisanal excellence.
The Oleaf packaging was designed to be both visually striking and tactilely pleasing. The choice of materials and the detailed label design aimed to create a luxurious experience that communicated the product’s premium quality. The abstract representation of olive branches on the label ties the product back to its natural roots, while the modern aesthetic ensures it appeals to contemporary consumers. This design approach ensures that Oleaf’s packaging is not only functional but also a key part of its brand identity, standing out as a piece of art in any setting.
Oleaf was a successful exercise in brand creation, even if it never reached the market. The project taught me the importance of balancing traditional elements with modern design to create a brand that is both timeless and relevant. The challenges faced during this project have only strengthened my approach to branding and packaging, ensuring that I continue to push the boundaries of creativity in all future endeavors.
